Wash Smarter, Not Harder with Westinghouse

Wash smarter, not harder with Westinghouse. This blog is about a Westinghouse Top Load Washing Machine and Dryer and how they can make laundry a little less tedious.

Why is it all so difficult? Corral the children, work, clean, socialise, exercise, 10 step skincare routine, sleep (lol). I wish more of life was just easy. With quality appliances, carefully chosen and thoughtfully designed, the portion of your life that consists of washing and drying clothes can be a bit easier.

Today we’re talking about two such appliances from the beloved and trusted appliances brand Westinghouse.

Westinghouse 11kg Top Load Washing Machine

The first thing you notice is the control panel. Easy to read and understand, you can quickly and easily program the machine to your needs. The display features cold wash options in a blue colour so you can easily find those, and a countdown timer so you know exactly when the wash cycle will end.

If you don’t have time to wait, the Westinghouse 11kg Top Load Washer has a number of Fast Wash Programs so you can clean your clothes and get on with your more important tasks.

A nice flat surface on top of the lid also lends itself well to folding on the go after the laundry is dried in the dryer, if you’re that way inclined.

With a gentle drum design for ultimate clothing care, and an auto water sensor level to save precious H2O, and a huge 11kg capacity which will suit most families, the Westinghouse 11kg Top Load Washer is a high performance machine designed to fit seamlessly into your life.

Westinghouse 8kg Heat Pump Dryer

Heat pump dryers use a heat pump to heat air to dry clothes, but go through a subsequent process of cooling and dehumidifying before the air is reheated and recirculated.

The benefits of this is firstly a reduction in the energy used to dry clothing. Heat pump dryers tend to have higher energy star ratings than other types of dryers, meaning they’re usually cheaper to run. The Westinghouse 8kg Heat Pump Dryer is no exception to this rule, with its 7 star energy rating.

Even though heat pump dryers are generally gentler on clothing because they dry at a lower heat, the Westinghouse 8kg Heat Pump Dryer also features SensorDry technology, which detects when the load is dry and ends the cycle regardless of time left, so clothing is not over dried and damaged.

The auto cool down feature means when the cycle ends the laundry is cool to the touch, reducing wrinkling in the process.

Reverse tumbling (changing directions from clockwise to anti-clockwise and back again), and different temperature and tumble settings further ensure clothing is protected and evenly dried.

Once you’ve used a heat pump dryer like the Westinghouse 8kg Heat Pump Dryer, you won’t ever want to go back to the classic vented dryer. Your clothes and wallet will thank you!

Why not both?

Getting a set of appliances from the same brand with the same styling and finish can lead to your laundry not just being a place of function, but of form as well. Make a style statement and enjoy the functionality of two new high quality appliances!
