Shop Panel Heaters

A panel heater typically uses convection to distribute heat evenly throughout a room, making it a quiet and effective heating option. These heaters are often wall-mounted or freestanding and come in various sizes to accommodate different room sizes and heating needs. They are popular for their slim profile and ability to blend seamlessly into modern home decor.
Panel heaters and oil heaters are both types of electric heaters, but they operate differently and have distinct characteristics:

  • Panel heaters use convection to distribute heat evenly throughout the room, are typically slim and flat, ideal for wall-mounting or freestanding, and offer quick, instant warmth. They are also lightweight and portable, often equipped with features like programmable timers and adjustable thermostat settings.
  • Oil heaters, on the other hand, use a heating element to warm oil inside the unit, which then radiates heat outward. They are usually larger and bulkier in design, often with wheels for portability, and take longer to heat up compared to panel heaters. However, they retain heat longer after being turned off and are generally quieter in operation. Oil heaters may also feature adjustable thermostat settings and safety features such as tip-over and overheating protection.
